Sometimes best intentions are just that best intentions. In an ideal world this post would have been up LAST Friday but this funny thing called life got in the way.
If you live in Jacksonville, then you'll know that last week was absolutely nuts news wise with the return of downed pilot and first casualty of Gulf War I, Scott Speicher. Working at a TV station, I was part of that coverage last week and that pretty much killed my Friday morning so I was unable to post anything. Was it worth it. Yeah, it was the first time in a LONG time that it felt as if Jacksonville were an actual community coming together for a common good. That might sound all mushy but in a town that is constantly divided it was an impressive sight last week. Perhaps there is hope for this place yet. Rant over.
Anyway, that killed Friday, Saturday and Sunday was spent out of town and Monday was catching up on all my work from the previous Friday. Anyway, that's all behind me now and I'm actually caught up. So here we go again, a special early week Ten Tracks You Need post! As for THIS Friday I guarantee that there will be a TTYN Post! Seriously.
