Lets Go Swimming

Trenchurian is Rian Trench from Dublin-based Solar Bears, whilst Swimming are Nottingham's finest purveyors of dark pop - a quintet fronted by John Sampson and his brother Peter. Swimming's single Neutron Wireless Crystal is out on 16 October, ahead of their debut album Ecstatics International on 7 November.

Fans of Washed Out, Starslinger, Gold Panda, Baths and the like should be drawn to this in a pre-gazing, dream pop way. It's all shimmery with a slight 80's hue and is rather incredible and with names like Neurtron Wireless Crystal, Swimming are destined to be on a Dr. Who episode.

Active Child & School of Seven Bells Team Up & Tour

Active Child and School of Seven Bells have collaborated on a special 7" project, each taking a crack at remixing the other's tracks. This limited edition 7" is on mixed color vinyl, no two of which are exactly alike, and will be available through Lefse Records on October 26. You can pre-order the 7" inch and instantly receive both tracks as free digital downloads.

Small Black Preps Tour

Starting October 22 Small Black will be driving to your home town as they embark on a month-long U.S. tour that will take them coast to coast. Class Actress will support on all dates, and on specific dates Small Black will also be joined by Delorean, Young Prisms, Lemonade, and Matthew Dear. Before the official tour starts you can also catch Small Black opening for No Age on two dates later this month in Brooklyn and Philadelphia.
