Twiggy Frostbite Hides In The Darkness

One of our favorite bands around here is easily Twiggy Frostbite.   Sort of a splinter group of The Deer Tracks every once and a while something appears from them that leaves us in awe.   It's completely random when they show up.  In fact, we don´t know exactly when, what or even if something will happen with these guys but this is how it goes when you give an artist total freedom. No demands on format, no deadlines. no nothing...

The saga of these occasional songs is something that we don´t understand the beginning of nor the end.  It's just continued at random intervals and while we dwell into it´s beauty we can not help to wonder what will happen next. I guess that only Elin, Anna-Karin and Emma knows the answer to that question. The question is if it really matters, as long as they present such amazing fragments of beauty.

Twiggy Frostbite Returns...Again.

"By The Ocean" is a new track from Twiggy Frostbite featuring members from The Deer Tracks. To be honest, we don´t know if it´s a part of an upcoming album, if it´s a single or maybe a part of a limited 7" vinyl but what we do know is that this song is yet another brick in a dream that started off with the track "Written Within" a couple of weeks ago. A track that Twiggy Frostbite defined like this..."What can we say you about that feeling? The feeling when you wake up and realize that this might all just be a part of that dream you had. You're neither asleep, nor awake, you're somewhere in between. The only thing you can be sure of is that you exist, or can you?"

Twiggy Frostbite Thaw Out

Twiggy Frostbite, with members from The Deer Tracks, are finally back with a brand new track, "Written Within". The track is the first step into a new era for Twiggy Frostbite where they leave all traditional formats behind.

They simply put are one of the most beautiful bands on the planet.  And whether it's frigid sparse pop or something even weirder, TF are amazing at constructing songs that will haunt your soul.

While this new single might not be quite as sparse as some of their previous work, they still create this strange dreamworld that someone from a land of ice and snow could only think of.  They have vivid imaginations as they constantly create some of the most texturally rich music you'll hear.
