All You Can Eat Buffetlibre
We've posted tons of stuff from Buffetlibre over the years. They've done so much it's hard to even keep up with these guys. Indie, synth, house, whatever, if they love it they support it. They've donated their skills, their time, and their tunes to causes, charities, compilations and just about anything else that they think is worthy. But who are they?
Buffetlibre is a duo of DJs from Barcelona which, since its formation, have combined their efforts in the most prestigious clubs throughout Europe with a flurry of activity of musical promotion.
Taking some time for themselves, the group is still working on their debut album. And judging by the quality of everything else they've done and the sneak peak below I'm sure we're going to be into one hell of a treat. So while they're working on the record (hurry up guys...we're dyin' over here), enjoy, "A Song For Elaine."

Give PEACE A Chance part 2

A few weeks ago, we posted the announcement by Buffetlibre DJ's about their latest offering PEACE Aside from the obvious what is PEACE all about?
PEACE is conceived as the first musical atlas online, with more than 150 brand new songs by artists from more than 50 countries/territories. PEACE will be available digitally worldwide on April 12, with buyers needing to make a minimum donation to Amnesty International through a specially-designed website. All donations will go towards Amnesty International's campaigns on human rights.
The list of participating artists spans the globe and covers the continents. From the US to Burundi and everything in between, PEACE, is a massive undertaking. As per usual, the effort that Buffetlibre put behind these things is awesome. As a gesture of good will they've even provided us with more tracks from the upcoming release.

With these additions, 56 countries are represented in the compilation, by some of its best artists.
Buffetlibre is glad to offer PEACE's first single as free-download mp3. The choosen song is "Mike", written and composed by Ivri Lider, one of Israel's most successful singer/songwriters. Ivri Lider's catalog is remarkable both for its sonic diversity and consistent popularity. Since his debut album in 1997, the multi-instrumentalist has seen each of his six albums achieve gold or platinum status and Lider taking home Male Singer of the Year. Over the past decade, he has explored numerous genres ranging from acoustic ballads and pop to rock and electronic music. He is currently working with internationally acclaimed producer Andy Green (Keane) on his next album.
