Glass Vaults Make New Space

New Zealand duo Glass Vaults are Richard Larsen and Rowan Pierce. The duo grew up in the rural town of Manawatu, New Zealand and both enrolled at the University in Wellington to study music.

Glass Vaults may have only been around a short time but they've pretty much defined what it is to make glacial pop. Their super cool and frigid tune "New Space," is a minimal, sort of ambient sound scape that breaks into a beat driven break down that has avalanche written all over it. It's good stuff that's perfect for the falling temperatures.

The band have recently released their 12" Glass EP on colored vinyl via new Florida label JUKBOXR.
